Osage County GOP Chair

Shawna M. Myers

I was born in Tulsa but raised in the Ozarks. I started working when I was 15. I have been married for 14 years, and we have two children. I have been in Healthcare for 22 years, am certified in multiple areas in the medical field, and currently have my own business and dabble in website design. I have leadership experience in Health care and am excited to use that experience in my role as Chair. I have been active in the OK2A and am a strong 2nd Amendment advocate. I love Christ and believe the United States is the world's greatest country. My goal is to grow our community and protect our conservative values.

Thank you for the opportunity to be your Chair.

My husband and I moved to Oklahoma as newlyweds in 1996. We built a house on Skiatook Lake a year later and helped form a Homeowners Association in our development. A lifelong Republican, I had been involved in college but moved around too frequently to be active. When Obama, a senator who voted to withhold medical assistance for a baby surviving a botched abortion, was elected president in 2008, I knew I had to do something. After finding the OKGOP website, I tracked down the Osage County Chair, attended my first county meeting, and have never looked back. Over the years, I have been elected District Committee Member and Vice Chairman as well as serving as Secretary and County Convention Secretary. My background includes holding offices and board positions in 4-H, student council, Girls' State, Honor Society, Food & Nutrition Club, Dietitians in Business & Industry, Roundtable for Women in Foodservice, Institute of Food Technology Foodservice Division, the Catholic Foundation and Diocese of Tulsa Envisioning Team. I grew up in Colorado and earned a BS in Food Science and Nutrition and an MS in Food Science. After a career developing and selling food products for chain restaurants, I became a full-time volunteer in 2017. My husband and I took all the NRA courses offered and the concealed carry class through Red Castle Gun Club. We love to explore Baja California, Mexico on our 4-wheelers. Having lived in California, we want to protect the grassroots values of Osage County by electing conservative candidates while stopping the spread of the liberal agenda at the state level and ensuring those we send to DC are looking out for our interests!

Osage County GOP Secretary

Cathy Hill

Cathy Hill moved to Skiatook in 2019. She recently retired from Owasso Public Schools after teaching for 23 years and now teaches Language Arts and American History at Owasso Preparatory Academy. She has been married to her husband, Wayne, for 45 years. She and Wayne became very active in the County soon after moving to Skiatook. She makes the most of every moment spent with Wayne, her children and her ten grandchildren.

I have a variety of hobbies that keep me busy. One of my favorites is energy psychology. I also volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, helping to build homes for those in need. When not doing that, I enjoy spending time in my garden, tending to my plants and watching them grow. And, of course, I love to travel and explore new places whenever I can. But perhaps what drives me most is my passion for honesty and fairness, which has led me to take a particular interest in election integrity.
